Well done Felix Baumgartner

And so it happened Felix Baumgartner broke the record for the highest ever skydive. We are waiting to hear the results as to whether he was able to break the sound barrier.
I can't believe that it happened, just watching it was amazing. I was in awe the entire time! My hands were shaking as he stepped onto the edge, ready to jump into the eerie quitness of the strasophere. I can't imgine what was going through his mind as he looked down on the earth, watching it spin below him, he wouldn't know if he would live to tell his family about how he felt, what he saw.
I can only imagine how mystical it would have been to be up there 128,000 feet in the air, above the earth looking over at the earths curve, looking at it in all it's beauty. I adore space, and i'd love to go into space, It fascinates me.
This is simply a congratulations to Felix on such an incredible achievment on a dream of his which he was able to fullfil. He is one of the bravest men i've seen and it makes me proud to have been around to watch such an incredible event live. It will 100% be one of those events to which i will one day tell me children. To all those people who think it was just a man jumping from space, you need to realise that this is historical, it's amazing. And it's a shame that not everyone understands that greatness of something so beautiful.
